This is to commemorate the passing of a good friend Richard Hannis, that sadly died in a motorbike accident in King's Lynn in Norfolk.
Richard grew up in Cheltenham and Churchdown in Gloucestershire, and attended Churchdown Comprehensive school, leaving in 1992.
After working for Smith's Industries (now G.E.), he joined the RAF and worked as an armourer.
He fell in love with Sarah Cook and her son Sam, whom he thought of as his own, had been living with them for three years, whilst still in the RAF, and throughout his tours in Afghanistan.
He was much loved, will be much missed and also leaves behind a daughter Rachel, from his first marriage, as well as Sarah, Sam and a wealth of family and friends.
